The iconic Hellcat V8 attains an output of over 1,000 horsepower with a devilish, supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that takes E85 fuel - a 170-proof ethanol mixture. Owners can refuel at a regular pump with 91-octane gas, which will mean topping out at 900 horsepower.
Design & Package Options
The 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 may be wildly different regarding the engine build, but the exterior and interior design are nearly identical to the 2018 original. Some slight details like shaved fender flares, a modified carbon fiber scoop hood, and gone are the thinner front tires - this car doesn't need them. The new Demon can seamlessly transition from the track to the street and offers configurable launch settings made possible by a myriad of improvements and tweaks.
Inside, the layout is identical to the original Demon, including the $1 options for the removable front passenger seat and rear seats to save weight.
