With the diesel engine gone, all new Gladiator models have the same engine under the hood: a 3.6-liter V-6 gas engine that produces 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Standard four-wheel drive provides exceptional traction on and off the road. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, while an eight-speed automatic transmission is available. A properly equipped Gladiator can tow up to 7,700 pounds, while the maximum payload capacity is 1,700 pounds.

The Gladiator is the only pickup truck to earn a Trail Rated® badge. That means the Gladiator has passed a series of rigorous tests in grueling off-roading conditions. With a variety of 4x4 systems, water fording in depths of up to 31.5 inches, precision steering, high levels of articulation, and up to 11.1 inches of available ground clearance, the Gladiator can handle the toughest off-roading conditions.

The Gladiator is the only pickup truck with open-air capability. Removable doors and removable and retractable roof options let you get the most out of the outdoors every time you drive. The 5.5-foot cargo bed is durable and offers plenty of available storage options. Power-adjustable front seats are now available, making it easy to customize your comfort before a long drive.

Gladiator Technology & Safety

All new Gladiator models now come standard with a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. This display makes it easy to control vehicle settings, navigation, audio, apps, and more. Standard wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® let you connect your smartphone to the infotainment system. Eight speakers come standard, but you can upgrade to an available nine-speaker Alpine premium audio system.

For safety, the Gladiator now comes standard with first- and second-row side curtain airbags. Available driver assistance technology features include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring.

Gladiator Trim Levels

There are four Gladiator trim levels for customers in Manteca to consider:

• Willys: Adds 32-inch mud-terrain tires, rock rails, power windows and mirrors, power doors, LED headlights, a Class IV tow hitch, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.
• Rubicon: Adds a 4.10 rear axle ratio, 33-inch all-terrain tires, fenders with added clearance, locking front and rear differentials, Fox shock absorbers, tow hooks, rock rails, skid plates, and a two-speed transfer case.
• Mojave: Adds Fox internal bypass shock absorbers, hydraulic jounce bumpers, a one-inch front suspension lift, a Desert Rated badge (optimized for driving in desert conditions), a hardtop with removable panels, steel bumpers, full-time four-wheel drive, a heated steering wheel, heated and power-adjustable front seats, leather upholstery, blind-spot monitoring, a front-facing camera, and integrated navigation.
